I was hoping this would be my last winter post, but we’ve had some bitterly cold days recently-especially with a snow storm called Stella. Thankfully my campus was on Spring Break, and I didn’t have to risk my life to get to classes!
I’m so ready for spring outfits, but this outfit was a perfect combination to both, winter and spring! Although this outfit was a darker choice of color, but it still reminded me for the upcoming season while keeping me warm with all the layers!
The skies looked like what a unicorn’s heaven would be!

Pairing a spring top with layering pieces like this denim button-down shirt make late winter a tad bit more “doable.” Besides I love a pop of classic blue (like this)! Black denim tied in well with the rest of the outfit! Denim on denim never fails!
If you don’t have a go-to in your closet, get one! It’s seriously the easiest outfit!

Whether if it’s your boyfriend’s oversized button down, or the typical made-to-fit loose, or tied around your waist, it is a classic style you can wear all year around. Even on the days you don’t feel like dressing up denim shirts are so versatile and look so effortless and chic when paired with black.
I was immediately drawn to these faux suede oxfords, and felt like it would be a great shoe to have when an outfit needs an introduction of texture.
